For many years, I’ve loved the warm, rich color of chocolate in general, so when I ran across a bedroom decorated with deep chocolate walls in a bedroom with similar style walls (note the slanted rafter walls in the photos) I was excited to find a style I wanted to emulate.
So this is the look we are going after for the master bedroom. The walls are close in color to the photos and the baseboard, windows, and cubbies are trimmed similarly as the closets in the room. Since the room really only has 4 pieces of furniture,it’s been relatively easy to reproduce. Except of course for the blasted lamps – which were from Restoration Hardware and were on sale — however, when I went to scoop up a pair, I discovered they were SOLD OUT!!! Arrggggghhh! Anyway, am on the search for 2 gourd shaped lamps in a mercury glass finish.
Anyone have a pair (or similar) they’d like to sell?
