With the recent spate of warmer weather we’ve had lately – (50°s and 60°s) I can’t help but be optimistic and hope the annual Freed Piggies campaign can get an early start, usually, though it begins mid-March. Yesterday, I put a tentative painted toe into the proverbial freed piggy waters, going sockless, but alas, it was a bit premature — my ankles were cold!(And as someone pointed out, verrrrry white!)
Soon, though, very soon — the warming appliances will be put away for another season and the piggies will revel in their freedom and ability to inspire with brightly painted appendages.
What rituals do you have that herald the start of warm weather season?
